Despite some the efforts of our own Edward Seckerson, YouTube has never seemed the natural home for posh music. By which I mean classical. Which I’ve always associated with the dirges on Radio 3 that my dad would insist on each Sunday until I grew old enough to protest and demand that I listen to scruffy blokes play guitars.
Anyhow, YouTube is obviously more mature about these things as its announced the worlds first collaborative orchestra. The YouTube Symphony Orchestra, no less – designed to link individual musicians with the opportunity for a spot of global collaboration.
